Those interested in applying for this position should be over 25, with significant training/experience in working with deaf/hearing impaired people
as well as have the ability to sign. Position requires planning of daily activities, supervising of counselors, planning interesting, beneficial programs for the campers - with an eye toward personal growth, enhancing of team-skills and enjoyment of summer activities including swimming, hiking, campfires, story-telling etc. Tell us why you love children and why this work experience appeals to you.

Assistant
Program Aide
Assistant to the Program Director with some training/experience in working
with deaf/hearing impaired people. Position requires helping to plan daily
activities, assisting counselors, helping to plan interesting, beneficial
programs for the campers - with an eye toward personal growth, enhancing of
team-skills and enjoyment of summer activities including swimming, hiking,
campfires, and story-telling.

During your off hours, you will find lots to see and do in the neighborhood!
Camp Kirby is 10 minutes from Lake Nockamixon State Park (some 3000 acres) with sailing, boating and other activities. The Camp is about 30 minutes from New Hope, PA - a renowned center for those with an interest in antiques, art, theater, etc. Allentown/Bethlehem/Easton is 20-25 minutes north of the Camp with fun spots including Dorney Park.
